T&TEC can bite me!

So what if I need electricity to run everything in my house? So what if it has become a necessary utility. Who cares? What I want to know is when will the madness stop in this country. Everything going up except my salary! How efficient is T&TEC's service anyway? A step above TSTT? A level above FLOW? Does that justify an increase in rates? Well? Does it?

Cost of Living? or Is it the Slippery Slope to Dying?

So, between the scandalous rates of TSTT, BLINK Broadband, Digicel, FLOW, WASA and T&TEC 100% increase in rates, rising food prices, inflation (that seems to be getting lower only in theory and no salary increase of substance, I guess the real question is 'How we go live?'

$5.00 for doubles?

Long time now I've been wondering when exactly the cost of groceries would surpass the my salary and with one fell swoop I find myself unable to think of clothing myself, buying groceries and putting gas in the car in the same month. Now for any of you working people, you already know that the cost of food whether it be at restaurants or fast food outlets has been ridiculous for awhile now. Let's face it, KFC has been playing the fool for a long time, but the trinis keep lining up for more (not so for me, Thank God i don't eat meat), never mind the cost of bread! So you decide you not going to buy food outside you will cook. How are you supposed to do that with the rising cost of groceries? I have resigned myself with just eating to live and nothing more, I can't afford the excess.

Now I have heard it all $4.00 and $5.00 for a doubles??? This used to be the 'poor man' meal. So I suppose in the very near future, men will be taking women to dine at Ali's Doubles for their dates...Think about it
