$5.00 for doubles?

Long time now I've been wondering when exactly the cost of groceries would surpass the my salary and with one fell swoop I find myself unable to think of clothing myself, buying groceries and putting gas in the car in the same month. Now for any of you working people, you already know that the cost of food whether it be at restaurants or fast food outlets has been ridiculous for awhile now. Let's face it, KFC has been playing the fool for a long time, but the trinis keep lining up for more (not so for me, Thank God i don't eat meat), never mind the cost of bread! So you decide you not going to buy food outside you will cook. How are you supposed to do that with the rising cost of groceries? I have resigned myself with just eating to live and nothing more, I can't afford the excess.

Now I have heard it all $4.00 and $5.00 for a doubles??? This used to be the 'poor man' meal. So I suppose in the very near future, men will be taking women to dine at Ali's Doubles for their dates...Think about it
